On the occasion of the opening of ACHROME, Bernard Villers presented a performance on gallery’s window, next to two paintings addressing the ephemeral nature of art.
Known for his works featuring colors, the Belgian artist had previously painted a white square on the window both from the inside and the outside, using a special white paint called Blanc d’Espagne. The performance saw Bernard Villers wiping away the outside painted square, leaving a thick white dust layer on the edges of the window.
