Following the success of the two previous editions, “Miroirs” in 2016 and “Miroirs 2/Tout est paysage” in 2018, the organizing team as well as the curators, Myriam Louyest and Christophe Veys, wished to continue this adventure in 2020.
For its 3rd edition (and after having dealt successively with reflection and landscape) the “Biennale du Parc d’Enghien” chose the title “De terre et de ciel” (Of earth and sky). Indeed, it is striking to see to what extent verticality is present in the Parc: tower, tunnel, astronomical observatory… The thirteen selected artists will thus try to make us meet the sky, plunge into the depths of the earth, climb, rise, run away, bury ouselves or even melt. To be one with the earth and the air. Dialogue and opposition between heaven and earth will therefore be at the core of the project.
“Miroirs 3 / De terre et de ciel” will be open every day from 2pm to 6pm in free access.
