The gallery is pleased to announce the second solo show by Fernanda Fragateiro, a major artist of the Portuguese scene.

The exhibition “She always starts by planting a tree” will present a new body of work paying homage to the architect Marie-José Van Hee. For several years now, Fernanda Fragateiro has been weaving a sensitive dialogue between sculpture, architecture and the memory of places. Van Hee’s singular approach – her way of inhabiting space, thinking about thresholds and working with materials – has been an essential source of inspiration in the development of this project.
