In the run-up to La Cambre’s centenary in 2027, Les Amis de La Cambre are organising an annual series of exhibitions, inviting a selection of inter-generational and multidisciplinary artists who studied at La Cambre.
The aim of these exhibitions is to re-establish links with La Cambre’s alumni and to celebrate this centenary with as many people as possible. We also want to showcase the talented artists who came through our school and bring them to the attention of a wider public.
This year’s exhibition, entitled Racines, will bring together a selection of artists from La Cambre around three themes: origins (cultural, family, inspirations for the work), nature (biodiversity, ecology), evolution (changes, ramifications, work in transition), in an appropriate scenography.
The show will include works from: Gudny Rósa Ingimarsdóttir, Bernard Villers, Ann Veronica Janssens, Jeanine Cohen, Camille Dufour, Maëlle Dufour, Javier Fernandez, Anne Marie Finné, Jean Glibert, Nadia Guerroui, Safia Hijos, Benoit Jacquemin, Loup Lejeune, Mireille Liénard, Maëlle Lucas-Le Garrec, Aimé Mpane, Mostafa Saifi Rahmouni, Godelieve Vandamme.
