Paulus

Paulus is a duo show bringing together Portugese artist Pedro A.H. Paixão and French-Colombian artist François Bucher.

The project is part of a cycle of three exhibitions curated by Paulo Pires do Vale at CAV – Centro de Artes Visuais in Coimbra, all presenting works that were developed around a particular film. This exhibition is the last one of the cycle, and is based on the script “San Paolo” that Pier Paolo Pasolini wrote but never had the money to produce. Pedro A.H. Paixão and François Bucher’s work seems to be an attempt to finally make the movie, but is actually a way to reflect on it through video and to think about its possibilities today.
