On the occasion of an Open Studio organized by Young European Artists at the former Atoma factory, the new contemporary art center founded in Forest in 2024 by architect Gilles Dehareng and artist Nina Anduiza is exceptionaly opening its doors to the public for a one-of-a-kind day, in anticipation of its official opening in September 2026.
In this still-raw and evolving setting, visitors can discover the unique practices of eight contemporary visual artists: Nina Anduiza, Younes Baba-Ali, Léa Belooussovitch, Johan Dussart, Lucien Lyon, Besnike Saraishta, Emilie Terlinden, and Sophie Vendryes.
Combining a functioning studio with a presentation of recent works, the Brussels-based multidisciplinary artist Younes Baba-Ali offers an immersion into his creative process. Installations, videos, and sound pieces interact with the space, revealing a universe that is at once critical, subtle, and deeply rooted in our contemporary reality.
Open studio in collaboration with Atoma art center, centre Wallonie-Bruxelles Paris, Berserk Art Agency and Young European Artists.
