O tempo inscrito – Memória, Hiato e Projecção

Curated by Sergio Fazenda Rodrigues, the exhibition “The Inscribed Time – Memory and Projection” presents a collection of works by Portuguese artists and focuses on the idea of ​​time and the way it acquires.

Present in the idea and expression of each work, the notion of time is linked here with a procedural logic, of use, of life and of death, functioning in addition to a chronological reading. Thus, we seek the understanding of concepts such as instant, sequence and hiatus, based on a cultural logic that structures a broad perception of how we conceive, measure and project what we are in.
