Curated by Sergio Fazenda Rodrigues, the exhibition “The Inscribed Time – Memory and Projection” presents a collection of works by Portuguese artists and focuses on the idea of time and the way it acquires.
Present in the idea and expression of each work, the notion of time is linked here with a procedural logic, of use, of life and of death, functioning in addition to a chronological reading. Thus, we seek the understanding of concepts such as instant, sequence and hiatus, based on a cultural logic that structures a broad perception of how we conceive, measure and project what we are in.
