Adélard presents *Faire partie du paysage*, a group exhibition spread across two floors of the Adélard barn. Curated by artist Emmanuelle Jacques, the exhibition builds on the research she began with Anna Jane McIntyre on the legacy of slavery and the historical presence of Black communities in Brome-Missisquoi.

The exhibition draws on archival documents, personal accounts, and observations of the region, which the artists use as the basis for a critical and imaginative interpretation of the past. Drawing on these historical traces, the works tell stories, fill in the gaps in the archives, and offer a fresh perspective on the history of Brome-Missisquoi, revealing the connections between its places, its communities, and the trajectories that have shaped them.
