Eirene Efstathiou revisited her project Kiafa from 2014 for this group show. This serie presents drawing on artifacts discovered and photographed on a hike Eirene Efstathiou took in the Grammos mountain range in Northern Greece, the site of the concluding battle of the Greek Civil War (1946-1949), as well as archival source material of the period and region. The project also examined how narratives of and about the civil war persist in public discourse to this day.
