ART MEDIA FESTIVAL - Irene Laub

After the first edition it has proved to be the principal place in Italy dedicated to the relationship between art and technology. Given the lack of touchstone in media art field in Italy, the aim is to build up an year-long project. A production and research center, thanks to the equipment of the Innovation Gym (link), that engaged artists, critics and experts all year long looking at the Festival as the main international event. Art & Technology is a link that goes beyond the art world. We think the event can also be an engine for youth entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative sector: sound performances, video art, technology applied to cultural heritage and craftsmanship, design and digital art. There are many facets of media art and this Festival, which is an absolute novelty in the Italian landscape, wants to celebrate them.
