A Public Affair

Group show
Cloud Seven, Brussels (BE)

Younes Baba-Ali

A Public Affair explores the connection between private and public life and raises questions about spaces we often use, such as churches, playgrounds, studios, and cinemas. Are they truly public, or do they belong to the private? The exhibition examines how people and communities navigate larger systems like work, property, and the economy. It reflects on how much control we have over our thoughts and actions when faced with the rules and authority of those in power.
